This page describes the cookies and other storage technologies used by the plabpro.com website and by the P-LAB PRO platform (the "LAB" reserved area), pursuant to the Guidelines of the Italian Data Protection Authority (Garante) of 10 June 2021 and the GDPR. The data controller is identified in the Privacy Policy.
In short: we use first-party technical cookies (necessary for operation, no consent required) and — only upon your prior consent given through the banner — measurement cookies provided by Google, for two distinct purposes: site usage statistics (Google Analytics 4) and counting the sign-ups that come from our ads (Google Ads). Conversion cookies belong to an advertising system, but we use them solely to measure how effective our campaigns are: we do not enable ads personalisation or remarketing, and we do not build advertising profiles.
These are necessary for the operation of the website and the platform; pursuant to art. 122 of the Italian Privacy Code and the Garante's Guidelines they do not require the user's consent. They are all first-party (set by our domain).

In the reserved area we also use the browser's local storage (localStorage/sessionStorage): first-party technical data that stays on your device and is not transmitted to third parties.

Only if you give your consent through the banner do we use measurement cookies provided by Google Ireland Ltd., for two distinct purposes: site usage statistics (Google Analytics 4) and measuring the sign-ups that come from our ads (Google Ads). None of these cookies are set before your consent, and enabling them is not necessary to use the website or the platform.

Measurement covers both the public pages and the reserved area (LAB). When you are signed in, a pseudonymous internal identifier (the number identifying your account, never your name or email address) and some non-identifying information useful for statistics (site area, subscription state, badge) are associated with the measurement. They serve to understand how the platform is used, not to profile you for advertising purposes. Administration pages are excluded from measurement.
If you reach the site from one of our ads, these cookies make it possible to link your sign-up to the ad click: they tell us how many registrations each campaign produces. They are set by Google's tag on our own domain (first-party), and the information they collect is transmitted to Google. We use them for this measurement only: ads personalisation and remarketing remain disabled even after you accept, and we do not build advertising profiles. Refusing or withdrawing consent does not limit your use of the website or the platform in any way.
At payment time you are redirected to Stripe's payment page, on Stripe's domain: from that moment Stripe's cookies and notices apply (Stripe's privacy policy). Our website does not set Stripe cookies.
This policy may be updated, for example should additional measurement tools be activated on advertising campaign pages. The date of the last update is shown at the top of this page.
