Using it in a match
Is it complicated to record events during the match?
No — and that is the reason P-LAB PRO exists. Two ways, both immediate: drag the event icon to the spot on the pitch where it happened, or tap the spot and pick the event. Then property and player, one tap each. If a feature slows the bench down, it does not make it into the product.
Do you need a dedicated match analyst?
No. One person can do everything — record and consult. If a collaborator then records for you, even from the stands, whoever is on the bench just reads statistics and advice: a plus, not a requirement. And if there is a match analyst, the LAB is their natural environment.
Do I have to record every single event of the match?
No: you do not need to record everything, you need to record what matters for your way of reading the match. P-LAB PRO does not impose a game model: each staff chooses which events to track according to their own methodology and the aspects they consider decisive.
Do you need an internet connection at the side of the pitch?
To record, no: the app also works without a connection and the data stays safe on the tablet. The network is needed for the full picture: with an active connection, recorded events (even from the stands) reach the bench and the webapp in real time, and the Coach Assistant is operational — its advice requires the connection. In practice: without the network you lose nothing, with the network you have everything.
Do I need to learn it before taking it to a match?
The app includes a built-in step-by-step guide that covers the essentials in a few minutes: how to record, how to interpret the key events, how to read live data. The practical advice: try it in a friendly or in training, and by the first official match it will already be an automatism.
Coach Assistant · AI
What exactly does the Coach Assistant do?
It watches the data building up during the match and steps in on its own when it spots something concrete — a recurrence, an imbalance, a trend. One tactical pill at a time, when needed, ready to use. At half-time it also prepares the summary notes of the half just played.
Is the AI advice reliable?
The advice is based solely on the events you record: P-LAB PRO does not "see" the match, it sees your eye organised into data. That is why the relevance of the advice depends on the accuracy of the input — recording well is easy, and it pays back. And the final judgement is always yours: it is an extra collaborator, not a decision-maker.
Does P-LAB PRO replace the staff's observation?
No, and it does not try to. It organises information for those who must interpret it: instincts, the game model and the decisions remain with the coach. It is an extra eye, never in your place.
Devices and data
Which devices are supported?
The match experience is designed for tablets, Android or iPad: big pitch, precise touches, everything at a glance. On smartphones the app works but in a limited form — it will tell you so itself. Webapp and Data Analisi LAB from any browser, on any computer.
Do the data remain available after the match?
Yes: every recorded match enters your history and stays available as long as you have an active subscription. That is where value grows over time — match comparisons, seasonal trends, player dossiers.
What happens to my data if I do not renew?
They stay safe: they are kept for 24 months after expiry — two full seasons. When you come back, you find everything: matches, statistics, history. Before any removal you receive an email notice.
Are the site and the app available in other languages?
Yes: P-LAB PRO is available in Italian and English, both in the app and in the webapp. You can switch language at any time from the settings.
Account, pricing and badges
What happens when the launch offer ends?
Nothing automatic: no charge, because we never asked for a card. You decide whether to subscribe — and if you do, your Platinum status is already there: yearly at 124.50 € instead of 249 €.
The "forever" of badge discounts — really?
Really, with one declared condition: your status is kept if no more than 30 days pass between the subscription expiry and the renewal. Renew in time, and the discount is yours forever.
Does the badge discount apply to the monthly plan too?
No: badge discounts apply to the yearly subscription, which is also the most convenient formula. The monthly at 24.90 € remains the flexible way in for those who want to go month by month.
What happens to my badge if I switch to the monthly plan?
Your status is kept only by staying on the yearly plan: if you switch to the monthly plan, the badge decays and the ladder starts again from zero with your next yearly subscription.
Can I get an invoice?
Yes. Enter your billing details in the Billing section of your profile, in the webapp, and you will receive an invoice for your subscription.
